Being mostly vegan, it was still enlightening to read about how certain foods affect the human body. Eating a more vegan or vegetarian diet is good, but avoiding processed foods has a tremendous benefit to one’s health.
I won’t advocate eliminating meat from your diet. I get it. But if you consume a mostly meat and processed food diet, read this book, look at the studies, see the research. Replacing some will help, doing more will, obviously, do more.
I’m in the middle of several books. Ones I’d like to finish before year’s end. Let’s see how many of them I can get through. Here’s the list.
I had started Obama’s A Promised Land and I may add that one to the list. Depends on how deeply I get into the other books on the list. I also want to read a couple of graphic novels before the end of the year.
I know this looks ambitious and will take me well past my 40 book goal on the year. Thinking about it, I’m probably past that goal already. Kindle doesn’t count the few physical books I’ve read this year and I’m only 4 away from hitting that goal on the Kindle.
Next year I have a different plan for each book, graphic novel/comic, short story I read. I’ll fill you in on that another time.
